Welcome to Yay Science!  My name is Miss Johnson and I am a sixth grade science teacher at Akimel A-al Middle School.  I teach both regular sixth grade science and advanced science for sixth grade.  I have also taught seventh grade and eighth grade in the past so that is why those grade levels are still on this site.

I love science experiments that blow up (actually, pretty much anything that blows up), reading a disturbing amount of books, and watching TV online.  I also watch way too many movies and because of this I use a lot of movie quotes in class.  Most of my students don't pick up on them...

If you ever need to contact me, the best way to get a hold of me is through email.  My email is ajohnson@kyrene.org.  I check that email frequently during the day and will be able to get back to you quickly.  If you do not have email and wish to call me, you can call Akimel A-al at 480-541-5908 and leave a message for me.  I will get back to you as soon as possible.  Have a wonderful day and enjoy exploring the world around us!
